Troy Buckholdt

Troy is the founder of CourseCareers. Back in 2017 he had just graduated high school and was trying to figure out what his next move in life was going to be. He knew that he wanted to work in sales and the technology industry seemed like the perfect place to start. The only problem was deciding whether or not to go through 4 years of expensive college to get a degree that isn’t even related to sales. He decided that there had to be a better way so I chose to self-educate himself in technology sales development and discovered a much better way to start a career without spending huge amounts of time or money. At age 18 he was able to land a tech sales internship, get promoted to a sales development rep, and even worked his way up to an account executive selling 6 figure deals by the age of 19. He ended up leaving his account executive position when he realized he could also help other students start their careers in technology sales without having a degree or experience. That’s when he founded CourseCareers to provide students with a better way into a technology sales career.
